Olympia Steel buildings are designed by in-house certified professional engineers to meet ASTM International (American Society for Testing and Materials) and AICS (American Institute of Steel Construction) standards. Every Olympia building is also designed and engineered to meet or exceed all local metal building codes, including snow load and wind load requirements and seismic conditions. The metal building engineering software program used to design steel buildings is not data based but is driven by engines that actually
create and design the metal building. The permit drawings are stamped and certified by in-house engineers who are licensed in the state where the permits are issued.
Permit drawings include:
- cover sheet with design loads and drawing index
- anchor bolt drawings
- column reactions
- rigid frame elevations
- side wall framing
- end wall framing
- roof framing
NOTE: Foundation drawings are not included, however, they are available for small fee from an outside concrete engineering firm. If full-scale calculations are required, they are available for a small fee.
